“All this is a dream. Still, examine it by a few experiments. Nothing is too wonderful to be true, if it be consistent with the laws of nature and in such things as these, experiment is the best test of such consistency.”
This note was made by Faraday on 19th March 1849, when set out in search of a connection between gravity and electricity and magnetism –the final link in the unity of natural forces in which he so firmly believed.
Nothing is too wonderful to be true, if it be consistent with the laws of nature and in such things as these, experiment is the best test of such consistency.

Could you explain the meaning of the following paragraph in plain English? Sure, I’d be happy to help. Can you please provide me with the paragraph you’d like me to explain? Nothing is too wonderful to be true, if it be consistent with the laws of nature and in such things as these, experiment is the best test of such consistency.
Certainly! This paragraph is saying that something that seems incredible or unbelievable can still be true, as long as it doesn’t violate the laws of nature. To determine whether something is consistent with the laws of nature, the best way is to conduct experiments to see if the results match what we would expect based on what we know about how the world works. In short, the paragraph is encouraging us to keep an open mind and use experimentation to verify the truth of extraordinary claims.
A future with quantum biology – with Alexandra Olaya-Castro
Department of Physics and Astronomy of University College London.
What Is ChatGPT Doing … and Why Does It Work?
There’s an AI for thatというサイトがあるのをtwitterで知りました。
The Character of Physical Law 1: The Law of Gravitation (Richard Feynman)というファインマンさんの講義の動画です。 https://youtu.be/LI_JiEo6UcE
The Law of Gravitation: an example of physical law The Relation of Mathematics and Physics The Great Conservation Principles Symmetry in Physical Law The Distinction of Past and Future Probability and Uncertainty: the quantum mechanical view of nature Seeking New Laws
The Character of Physical Lawというタイトルです。
