これはPerspectives on Medical Educationというオランダで発行されているオープンアクセスの雑誌の最新号にのった次の記事の紹介です。

オープンアクセスなので、論文をダウンロードしてざっと論文を読んでみました。この論文にはChatGPTのプロンプトの使い方の例が詳細に書かれているので大変役立ちます。自分の目的に合致するChatGPTの応答を導くためには、どのようにChatGPTと対話をすすめていくとよいかが、例を挙げてあるのでとてもよくわかります。各自の目的に応じてプロンプトは自作するのがよいのですが、プロンプト自作の要点がよくわかる論文です。
論文にはChatGPTが、文献をでっちあげたりすることがよくあることも書かれていて、例も挙げてあって具体的によくわかります。
また論文執筆時のパラグラフを改良するにもChatGPTが使える例もあげてあります。left-branching sentencesとright-branching sentencesというのを知っていますか？ 最初に例などをいろいろあげる文を並べた後に、結論の文が並んでいるのが、left-branching sentencesです。パラグラフの左の方に、ごちゃごちゃと枝葉末節みたいに文が並んでいることから、left-branching sentencesといいます。これとは逆に、結論の文が最初で。結論に関する説明やデータの文が後に並んでいるのを、right-branching sentencesというのです。left-branching sentencesは読者にわかりにくいので、ChatGPTに（プロンプトで）お願いして、right-branching sentencesに変えてもらう例が詳しくこの論文胃書いてあります。文法チェックや論文のスタイルの変更も、うまくプロンプトをつかいながらChatGPTにやらせることもできるのです。面白いことに、ChatGPTはleft-branching sentencesとright-branching sentencesの意味を逆に思い込んでいたようで、最初は真逆の説明をしていたそうです。著者がプロンプトで誤りを指摘すると、ChatGPTは謝ってきます。ChatGPTの誤りを訂正した後、スタイルの変更をさせる例が載っていて大変参考になります。ChatGPTと対話しながら、最適の応答をかえしてくるように導いていくテクニックがいろいろな例について詳細に書かれているので、これは必読の論文だと思います。
さらに、最後の方には、私達のように英語を母国語としない論文著者が英文を書くのに、ChatGPTはとても役立つとも書かれています。皆さんもこの論文などを読んで、ChatGPTを活用することで、成果や意見をどんどん発表していってください！
